About Our Repair Charges

We charge a diagnostic charge to send our technician to your home to diagnose your appliance. The technician will take as much time as necessary to determine the problem and do any parts research necessary. Once they have gathered all the information, the technician will present you with a quote. We use the National Appliance Association's Flat Rate Pricing Guide for all of our quotes.

Our service fee is $85. This charge will not be waived but will be included in the up-front quote given by the technician.

Diagnostics on a 2nd appliance is $45. If you choose to repair additional appliances, the diagnostic charge for the additional appliances will be waived.

Let's say the pump in your washing machine needs to be replaced. Our technician will look in the book, find "pump replacement," and note that it is $200. He will also add the $85 in the service call portion of the invoice. If hypothetically, the pump is $40, he will fill that in the parts section of the invoice. At this point, the total is $125, and since the book calls for a $200 job, the technician fills the labor portion of the invoice with $75.

The service fee will be itemized on your invoice and is applied to the total price that our blue book calls for. If you decide not to have the replacement done, you would only be charged the $79 service and diagnostic charge.

Please remember that the example above is hypothetical, and we won't be able to know the actual costs until we have diagnosed the actual problem. Our diagnostic charge includes the cost of travel to your home and the time needed for our technician to complete the diagnosis and provide you with an appropriate quote.
